Christene Randolph, 97 passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 in Abilene, TX. The viewing will be at Ratliff Funeral Home in Seagraves, TX at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Gaines County Cemetery in Seagraves, TX.
She was born April 28, 1924 in Lueders, TX to Will and Mittie Watkins. She married Clifford Randolph in Anson, TX in January of 1942. Clifford and Christene moved to Seagraves, TX in 1946, and they began raising a family shortly thereafter. She was very proud to watch her grandchildren grow up in Seagraves, TX as well. Being a grandma was her favorite thing in the world, she was proud to be called Grandma by not only her grandkids, but anybody that walked through her door. She loved to cook and if you left her house hungry it was your own fault.
She also loved to fly with her husband, and even attempted to ride the motorcycles with her boys. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Seagraves, TX for many years until she and her husband moved to Levelland, TX in 2001. She was then an active member of the First Baptist Church in Levelland, TX.
She is preceded in death by her husband Clifford, son Billy Randolph, four brothers, and two sisters.
Christene is survived by two sons; Howard Randolph of Oklahoma City, OK, Ken Randolph of Gardendale, TX, four grandchildren; Kris Randolph and wife Amanda of Monahans, TX, Melissa Randolph of Lubbock, TX, Karla Harris and husband Chris of Gardendale, TX, Sarah Diamond of Midland, TX, along with six great grandchildren; Mason Long, Clifford Tate Randolph, Cameron Harris, Megan Randolph, Khloe Ortega, and Kipper Randolph, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
