SARANAC LAKE — Today, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Pendragon Theatre is hosting local auditions for their upcoming summer season.
Directors have been announced and include award-winning directors Colette Robert (“Behind The Sheet,” “Stew”); Sarah Norris (“Everything is Super Great,” “This Wrestling Place”); and Arthur Ross (artistic director of Bedazzled Productions).
The Pendragon has a big slate of productions this summer, which include the hit musical, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” “Circle Mirror Transformation,” written by Pulitzer Prize winner Annie Baker, and a bold new comedy titled “The Woods.”
The Camp Pendragon production of “Frozen Jr.” will hold auditions at a later time.
There are a wide array of roles that Pendragon is looking to cast.
The theatre is also still accepting submissions for its Young Playwrights Festival, open to students in grades six through 12th. Submissions due by May 1. Winners will get $200 and have their play produced by Pendragon.
