Scooter’s Coffee launches Cold Foam, winter menu
Scooter’s Coffee, which opened its first Chattanooga area location earlier this year, has launched its winter menu and has added Cold Foam.
Made to order with nonfat frothed milk, Cold Foam can be made sugar-free or infused with any combination of Scooter’s Coffee flavored syrups and sauces, according to the company. In addition, Scooter’s is offering wintry drinks and treats.
Scooter’s opened its first location on Shallowford Road and then its second on Highway 58. Scooter’s is building its third Hamilton County drive-through kiosk on Apison Pike in Collegedale.
In all, 10 to 15 locations are planned by Chattanooga franchisee Coffee Roots TN LLC, said Nikolay Timoshchuk Jr,. its chief marketing officer.
Take 5 Oil Change plans Brainerd Road unit
Take 5 Oil Change plans to open another auto drive-through location in the Chattanooga area with a new unit at 4823 Brainerd Road.
Take 5 came into the Chattanooga market earlier this year with plans to build at least 10 sites in the region, according to area franchisee Michael Alterman.
Take 5 purchased the property on Brainerd Road, said Jeff Jennings, a commercial real estate broker for NAI Charter Real Estate in Chattanooga.
The company has about 600 locations across the country including units in Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.
