SAN ANGELO — A new tea shop has opened in San Angelo hoping to give you energy with “healthy teas for healthy living.”
Tea2Go TeaN’ergy opened Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at 4126 Sunset Drive.
Stephanie Chavez, CEO and managing partner, said they specialize in health with loose-leaf teas.
“Our goal is to bring the health benefits of our teas and energy drinks to the community,” Chavez said. “We have our loose-leaf teas, which are hard to find in most areas, and that’s where you going to get your health benefits.”
Near the end of 2019, Tea2Go TeaN’ergy began franchising and has since grown from five stores to over 20, according to its website. Before the San Angelo location, the closest shop was in Abilene.
Chavez said they brew the loose leaf in house and sell it by the ounce for customers to take home.
The shop also has a hydration station tea bar, energy drinks, special teas and kids drinks.
“Our energy drinks are out most popular, so that’s what we named our business after,” Chavez said.
The energy drinks are all natural with 165 milligrams of caffeine, Chavez said. Some of the special teas include fizzy teas made with soda water, matcha lattes and more.
The business will have its grand opening at noon Friday, Feb. 18.
The hours are going to be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Chavez said the company is already planning on adding a second location in San Angelo as a drive-thru only shop.
